As some of you are aware, Felipe Massa, the Ferrari driver who won at Schumacher’s last race, was hit in the head by a suspension piece during a qualifying run at the Hungarian Grand Prix.  Fortunately, Massa is going to be fine, although he may suffer permanent damage to his eye.  Hopefully he will have a 100% recovery.

Ever since that happened, rumors have been flying that Michael Schumacher, one of the most celebrated drivers in the history of the sport, will return to F1 to drive for Ferrari.  Now those rumors have been confirmed, and the racing community is going wild.  Expectations are very high for Schumacher, who has won more than a third of all of his races.  I’m pretty pumped, although he is driving again under unpleasant circumstances.  Let’s just say that SPEED TV is going to get some more attention from me.
